FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
Is CBD legal?
Yes, CBD is legal. We operate from the UK, but it is legal to consume and buy in the EU & all 50 States in America. Globally it is allowed, with various restrictions depending on the country.
If you believe it might not be legal or there are restrictions around it in regards to your country, it would be best to find out yourself or contact us to check.
Will CBD get me high?
CBD does have a very small trace of THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol), specifically less than 1% THC within our items. THC is the compound within the cannabis plant which induces psychoactive effects. However due to such a little amount of the compound within our oils and other products, it would not have the same effect if the cannabis plant was inhaled through smoke. We also stock THC free oils for customers who may give CBD products to their children or wish to to benefit from CBD, but without consuming any THC.
Will CBD show up on drug tests?
CBD should not test positive if you are doing a drug test for work or any other reason.
This is due to the extremely low amounts of THC or none within our products.
Best Way to take CBD?
Whilst the Premium and THC free oils are the most popular & effective way, depending on the issue you are taking CBD for, there will be different products best suited for you. For example, for people suffering from muscle or nerve issues, whilst the oils would also help, the heat balm is most likely to be suited to your needs. Check out our blog to see which product best suits your needs.
How does CBD work?
CBD helps our bodies by targeting naturally produced receptors within our nervous system. The receptors, called CB1 & CB2, help regulate everything within our bodies from sleep, mood, metabolism & immune system strength. CBD helps keep these receptors working for longer and more effectively.
How does CBD taste?
CBD in its raw form will taste very much like hemp, which has a very strong earthy flavour. Due to this we have mixed all our CBD oils with a flavour, as CBD is used as a carrier oil. This means CBD can be mixed with other oils and still retain its properties. We have an option of a sweet flavour or a savoury flavour to pick from our oils.
What is the difference between CBD and marijuana?
Whilst CBD naturally occurs within the cannabis plant, it does not produce a “high” within your body.CBD is packed with the nutrients within the hemp plant, which is what causes all the positive benefits that people gain from taking it. The regulation states that CBD products must have less than 1% THC, usually products have 0.3% or 0.2%. This can be seen within our lab reports on our site.
What is the difference between Full spectrum & broad spectrum?
Simply put Full spectrum CBD comes with all the chemicals naturally found within the hemp plant- CBD, trace cannaboids, THC. Whilst the THC content is locked in at 0.3% maximum.
Broad spectrum, similar to full spectrum in regards to the chemicals from the original source within the product, but has taken an additional step in removing THC that is present.
Who shouldn’t take CBD?
There are a few specific cases that CBD should not be taken. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a history of hypersensitivity for canniboids. You should always consult with your doctor before adding CBD into your diet & routine, especially if you are currently taking other medications.
