Our guide to taking CBD Oil
CBD oil is commonly the most effective and sought-after product for people looking to delve into
CBD. As it goes through our digestive system, it has the most impact on our body in reducing the
symptoms one might suffer from an illness. Many people who are beginners in trying CBD often
make some common mistakes when taking the oil. Here are some of the most common mistakes
and the most effective ways to take CBD oil.
Not holding the oil underneath your tongue for long enough:
Many people do not realise that CBD is most effective when held underneath the tongue for
1-2 minutes before swallowing. This is due to the fact that CBD is absorbed into the bloodstream quicker and gets to work quicker and more effectively in being transported around the body. When going through the digestive tract, you will have to wait for your body to fully digest the CBD and break it down. This is why CBD sweets, whilst tasting great, can often be slightly ineffective as they take up to 2 hours to be broken down, as well as only 20-30% of CBD being absorbed.
Patience:
Many people think that the moment they take CBD it will cure or aid all of their symptoms they suffer from. This is not true. You must allow CBD time to work with the nervous system in your body to help tackle the issues you suffer from. There is no miracle drug or item that will cure you of your
illness, it takes time and discipline in order to properly tackle the symptoms of illnesses. This is why
we suggest that people take 2-3 drops, 2-3x a day. This is so your body and digestive system can get accustomed to CBD.
Dosage:
You may find yourself taking CBD and not feeling a huge amount. It is useful to track how much
CBD you are taking and what percentage. This may be because you are not taking enough CBD to
tackle your issues or you need to increase the percentage you are taking. Each percentage will have
a stronger concentration of CBD per drop. For example, 5% drops contain 2.5mg of CBD per drop.
10% contains 5mg per drop & 15% contains 7mg per drop. If you feel like the 5% drops are not working, it is worth moving up to a higher dosage.
The oils do not always need to be taken via the tongue, although it is the most effective way to get
CBD into your body. Many people will add CBD oils to their drinks or food. They find it is an
easier way to consume their daily CBD amount, as the taste of the drink or food will mask the CBD.
This is also one of the reasons why CBD sweets have become so popular, as they are great ways to give to those who can’t bear the taste of hemp.
The best way to take CBD is the way you are most comfortable taking it. Many people might have CBD
drops in their evening tea before they go to sleep to help with their sleep routine or some might
take it via the bottles directly in their mouth to get the most out of the CBD they take. It will all
depend on you and the physical or mental conditions you are taking CBD for. If you have any
